Held annually in Washington, D.C., the Alumni & Friends Reception is an opportunity for former CN journalists to reunite with their counterparts working in a variety of fields, from journalism and politics to business and law. It is also a chance for the CN to recognize its current class of interns and fellows.

The 2011 reception was on June 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Heritage Foundation. Friends and colleagues of the CN joined us over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The featured speaker was Joe Rago, CN alumnus of the Dartmouth Review and senior editorial page writer at The Wall Street Journal.
