Held annually at Washington’s University Club, the Alumni & Friends Reception is an opportunity for former CN student journalists to reunite with their counterparts working in a variety of fields, from journalism and politics to business and law. It is also a chance for the CN to recognize its current class of interns and fellows.

This year's reception was on Tuesday, July 13 from 6-8 p.m. in Washington, D.C. Friends and colleagues of the CN joined us over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The featured alumnus was New York Times columnist Ross Douthet, former editor of the Harvard Salient.
