The Professional Reporting Courses are all-expenses paid conferences for 12 student journalists. The focus of each are on journalism skills and techniques that can be applied to CN newspapers as well as toward jump-starting a career in journalism. Sessions are led by reporters, writers, and editors from a variety of prominent news outlets, such as The Atlantic Monthly, Wall Street Journal and Conde Nast Publications.
The Collegiate Network hosted a Professional Reporting Course in New York City from Feb. 5-7 and again in Washington, D.C. from Feb. 25-27.
