The Collegiate Network hosted its first Professional Reporting Course in New York City, September 26-28, 2008. This is an all-expenses paid conference for 12 student journalists. The focus will be on journalism skills and techniques that can be applied to CN newspapers as well as toward jump starting a career in journalism. Sessions will be led by reporters, writers, and editors from the Atlantic Monthly, Wall Street Journal, Conde Nast Publications, and other prominent news outlets.
